Community Events for VAMMR

We're so glad you're planning to fundraise for VAMMR. Community Events are a meaningful way to make a difference for the marine mammals in our care -- and every dollar raised goes directly to their rescue, rehabilitation, and release. This form helps us learn more about your plans so we can support you along the way, from providing resources to helping make your event a success. Applications should be received at least 15 days before your event. Not sure a Community Event is the right fit? Requires approval from VAMMR and all CRA Guidelines need to be followed

Terms and Conditions

Please read the following and indicate that you have read, understood VAMMR'S Third Party Guidelines and agree to these terms and conditions:


  • I agree to forward all proceeds from this event to Vancouver Aquarium Marine Mammal Rescue Society (VAMMR}, as listed within this application.

  • I understand that VAMMR must approve all publicity for the event prior to it being released and that VAMMR's name, logos, and symbols are important and should not be misrepresented.

  • I understand that tax receipts will be issued according to Canada Revenue Agency guidelines and that I must discuss tax receipting details with VAMMR prior to the event or tax receipts will not be issued.

  • I understand that VAMMR assumes no legal or financial liability associated with this event.

  • I understand that VAMMR is not responsible for any accidents or damage to persons or property that may occur during the course of this event.

  • I understand that VAMMR reserves the right to cancel this agreement at any given time should the event undermine our mission, vision and values.
